An Update For 2021

Firstly let me wish you a Happy New Year. As that clock struck past midnight there was a collective feeling that we had all seen the back of this awful situation.

Alas….

As I write this, we are still in a semi state of limbo, albeit moving forward slowly and purposeful. Hopefully we wont ever have to go through anything like this again during our lifetime.

Let us sincerely hope no body does.

As the current lockdown continues and although I can officially travel to work in the English Mountains and hills, I have far too much respect for others and as such, as I did in the other lockdowns, I will be staying local. The mountains and landscape will be there waiting. I know I am not alone in thinking that.

It has actually been a pleasure to walk around woodland and the rivers by here. Plenty of opportunities to get out and take a few different snaps. I don’t usually take my ‘big kit’ preferring to ’travel light’ and use the X pro1 with a 27mm lens attached. It has served me very well since it came out in 2012. Great camera!

As far as the ‘day job’ or the ‘work front’ goes and like all the other pro’s I see on the social media platforms, I am extremely grateful to all the good folk who have booked me and simply re-scheduled their workshops from Spring onwards. Thank you!

I am also receiving regular requests as too, ‘are you running workshops later on and if so when?’ emails and all I can say is, ‘yes I am’ and should you wish to book then please feel free to contact me. I am very flexible with my dates and you are not tied to the requests of others. All it takes is the £10 deposit and we are then scheduling.

Other than that, I am busy processing images for the site and agency stock as well as creating my second Dinorwic Book.

I can’t stress this enough but please keep safe and I really look forward to seeing you as we emerge from the tunnel….
