From Fells to factory floor...

As a photographer my camera takes me all over the place.

I am lucky to be able to travel across Europe for Monarch Airlines, as well shooting the glorious fells in Cumbria.

Occasionally however,  I receive a commission that is totally different from the norm.

Last week, I was very pleased to be asked to photograph for the Constant Group near Oldham and capture their specialist work. The weather was glorious but I was inside. The hottest days of the year yet no shorts to air those hairy legs due to Health and Safety! It was sweltering.

It was a pleasure to undertake this work and I will never forget sitting atop a large machine photographing a Laser in action!  Thank you to Ali for being my chaperone and the staff who allowed me to disrupt their days. They were a pleasure to work with.

This week has been back to the fells and a number of workshops delivered in very uncharacteristic weather. July.....?????.....really???

Winter is back.....

Winter is back.....

Both Melissa and Adam took the Cumbrian drizzle on the chin, literally but the cooler temperature drop was incredible. I was head to toe in winter garb and was grateful for my new BERGHAUS ORTLER  trousers. Lightweight and waterproof.

Adam turned up so optimistically in his shorts but had to don his hat and coat throughout the day.

The rest of this week sees me processing Constants work and then back to the fells.

I can't wait for the summer to return.....
